Words of Affirmation Every Wife Wants to Hear

Hey gang!  I came across this blog post from Matthew L. Jacobson and wanted to share it with you.  I am happy to say that my awesome wife read the list below and said that I ( Tim Marks) say all of these things to her.
While I appreciate her saying that, I know that I need to say more of these things; more often and more specifically.  Not because it’s a tactic to get me in good graces with Amy, but because its true – period.   Read this list, and share these words with your wife!

God Bless, Tim Marks

A while back I was speaking and asked for a show of hands, “How many of the wives have had too much affirmation over the past month?” Laughter broke out across the room. No, haven’t had too much of that.

If Lisa is any indication, women often have the feeling that life is coming at them with the speed of a fighter jet and the chaos of a riot. Add to this the voices everywhere around them saying in subtle and not so subtle ways that the job they’re doing isn’t quite up to the mark. Wives often have the nagging feeling that they just don’t measure up.

Let’s drown out those voices with the applause of affirmation – words of beauty, truth, and love that every wife wants to hear, but also needs to hear often. Here are 102 to help you get started.

    Hello Holly.

Thank you for contacting LIFE Leadership Support.

You can contact Tim Marks via his personal blog:

    Have a great day.
Hi to the Great Tim Mark and Great Amy. It is amazing 31 months to being extremely successful. Your list of affirmation is amazing. Thank you. Thank you for your LIFE Leadership support and dedication in many areas.
I am thankful for you and Amy being dedicated to Christ.
I am thankful for your focus in support of family and of truth. I am thankful for you writing two great books.
I am thankful that you want to stand up for truth.
But I do I praise you for somethings you said on cd “Even You”? Although I have many more faults than you I criticize you for criticizing other Christians in cd ” Even You” . This is an exaggeration, but almost appeared that you praised a Muslim and then degraded other Christians.
It is my belief that the Christians, in which you named their books, are doing much better work for the Lord than you. How do I know? They are criticized more than you. Let God be the Judge! Please Please Please be careful of who you criticize for your own well being and even salvation. Matt 5:21-26. Please please don’t try to explain how Christians should not hear God’s voice because they do.
There were good things on the cd, I understand you want to correct wrongs. I praise you for doing the CD I am sure that takes courage. This is the way I see it defend the Lord Jesus Christ not any doctrine but Paul the Apostles doctrine which was defense of grace and belief of Christ’s death, resurrection and life eternal.

I am weak, may my weakness lead to strength in Him the only one who counts.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING….. to you and family all blessings
    in Christ our redeemer.
